  3. The stampede had begun. Since then, Lilly and the ponies have graced the stage of the Ryman, opened for Lyle Lovett, and enjoyed success over seas. They currently reside in Nashville, TN and are awaiting the release of their debut album, "Let Down". Produced by Doug Lancio (Patty Griffin, Gretchen Peters), the album is to be released in /5(12).
  4. Never Let Me Down was, I believe, his 4th album from the 80s. It wasn't glam-rock, and it wasn't paticularly experimental. It was more popish. By the time "Never Let Me Down" came out I guess fans of the older Bowie just gave up hope. "Tonight" was a let down, and this wasn't moving him back in the direction of his glory years/5().

  6. referencing Never Let Me Down, LP, Album, RE, RM, , , DB Sue me, I enjoy this record. Yes, it's definitely very 80's sounding and doesn't sound like Bowie from the 70's.
  7. I really want to like it but it just doesn't grab me like the first two LP's; they have such an energy about them - I can't help but smile and wanna dance when I hear them. 'Kings' is not a bad album as such, in fact it's a great album; it's a bit laid-back and stripped down.
  8. Apr 03,  · Here's recommended all-analog LP reissues worth owning. The video runs two hours so unless you are masochistic, you might want to watch in shorter segments but covering LPs took time! Plus there are the usual fun stories interspersed throughout. Okay, I got wrong the The Who's "Tommy"'s original issue date (I said November '68, was May '69) otherwise all of the information .
